I am thrilled to be your child's 2nd Grade Teacher this year at Logan Elementary! This year will prove to be an exciting one filled with active and cooperative learning.
My goal is about creating an engaging, interactive, comfortable and self-reflecting environment in my classroom. My hope is that in this environment the students will thrive academically and socially with their peers.
I have been teaching in El Paso for 4 years and this is my first year at Logan Elementary.
I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology Management - Computer & Multimedia Graphics, from Southeast Missouri State University. I also received a Post Baccalaureate Degree in Elementary Education from The University of Texas at El Paso. I am also certified to teach Gifted and Talented.
I believe in teaching children to be self-sufficient individuals at a young age. It is important that students know they come to school to learn and that there is no time to sit around and do nothing.
We are "OWL"WAYS BUSY LEARNING in 2D!
I believe that two-way communication is essential to optimize your child’s learning potential. Together as a team we can accomplish this mission! If you have any questions or concerns call the school office at (915) 236-5750, to schedule a meeting.
My conference time is Monday-Friday, 8:15-9:00 a.m.
I look forward to a wonderful and successful school year.
