Focus on Children & Families (FCF) is an early intervention and prevention program that offers a wide range of services to children and their families (Pre K - 5th grade). The program began in 1993 providing quality social services to families through collaborations between the school district and community agencies.
FCF provides parents and children direct, personal, and professional support in times of crisis-related situations to help ensure children succeed in school. At times, students and parents may experience traumatic events that adversely affect the student.
FCF intervenes collaboratively with campus staff, on-site, to provide direct assistance and support to families in terms of counseling, therapy, access to social services, and other resources.
FCF is designed to provide social services and therapy (individual/family). Services are provided on campus, working parents do not have to miss a day's work and the child stays in school.
